Can you move from field to field filling out a web page form via a tab key function? Clicking with a finger or even a cursor to get to the next field is very hit & miss. If not, sure would be a good feature to add.

Yep it would be a nice feature to add.
I agree this would be a good feature... However I have found that if you simply press the "enter" key it more often then not moves the cursor to the next form field....
this is NOT correct behavior in a browser application.
a TAB Key is absolutely crucial to proper browser functionality.
i can hardly believe BB got this so wrong!
Why do u need a TAB key when u can touch to any field in the screen?

for when you accidentally zoom then oH **** WhOOOPS CLICKED WRONG DAMMIT HIT BACK
Because then you need to move your finger off the keyboard and onto the form field, touch/click, then move it back to the keyboard. It'd be much easier if you could just tab.
yeah, what he said.
have you actually tried to use this browser with MAN sized fingers?
You guys do know that on fields you dont have to CLICK to bring the cursor to them right? You just have to touch...not that hard for me but I can see how a tab key would help on a page with like 10+ fields maybe.
Only saying this because I see some of you saying click wrong thing and hit back...just touch dont click the screen...it does amazing things lol
can't please all the people all the time.
ii was thinking that a tab key would come in handy earlier today when ii was filling out a sign up form...
Man they should've added a cursor mode to this thing! I'm sure it'd be pretty simple to have an arrow appear above your finger that you could easily place inside a textbox.
Oh wait...
is there a way to make cursor mode default? cuz having to tap the cursor buttin everytime is still a pain in the ***... and ii still think a tab button wud make life that much easier.
Not sure about that.
I would put cursor-control keys and a tab-like jump from field to field in forms among the very highest priorities for future releases. Reminds me of the original Macs, which didn't have cursor-control keys on their keyboards because Steve Jobs declared that it would all be mouse driven. Soon enough, the keyboards had cursor controls.
The Storm's browser is a seriously half-baked POS. The whole drop down/text field entry is very poorly implemented. Even URL entry is lacking.
..not yet...i've been using my spare set of 10 year old girl fingers... Works like a charm but makes the co workers uncomfortable lol

I have gotten a lot better at moving around and swiching to cursor mode than I was when I made the op, but the tab key for form fields would still be a nice addition. Smaller fingers for qweryt keyboard would also be nice. After careful consideration I have decided against surgery to switch my thumbs with my pinkies.

Leaving out a tab button is a bad ommission - it's something we've been using on PC's for years and years, and we all expect to be able to move through form data fields with one.
It defo needs to be included in a future release, or potentially to have one of the convenience buttons turned into a tab button when on certain screens - i.e. web browsing, adding a contact or a calendar entry etc etc.....
I guess I am used to it since I have a mac....and that is correct behavior in a browser application..
I do agree it would be nice... and since it is a virtual keyboard I think it would be fairly easy to add this in a future update..
So has anyone figured out a way of doing this, or did we just get tired of complaining and get nothing.
I really hope this is one, or a key we can map to it...
A TAB key would be a nice option of moving between fields.
