I am with Bell and am allowed to tether. Problem is that I don't know how to do it on a mac. On my pc at home, I can do it through desktop manager (it says...I haven't tried). I downloaded desktop manager for mac, but it seems to be completely different. It's not a huge deal, but we are are taking a trip and it would be nice to be able to use the mac without searching for wifi. Thanks in advance for any help.

buy tether at tether.com...there may be some other way but this app is super easy to use and you can connect it to your Mac via bluetooth

I am using VZaccess Manager on my MacBook which also works with a Sprint 8530. (I have tethering in my plan, not sure if that makes a difference).

I paired mine via Bluetooth. Works fine for me.
