I passed by the Telus store and one of the sales rep confirmed that Telus is beta testing version .106 for the Storm (9530). I saw the email and was there when the person was downloading the OS.
There is no official date but early March seems to be the target for an official release.
I will pass by the store over the weekend or at latest Monday. He mentioned that I can play around with the new OS but unfortunatelyhe won't 'share' the file.
well if they let you see the phone with this so called beta 106, check the about screen and verify lol.. 103 is nice, but 106 has to be better right?? hehe
ive spoke to a few people i know at corp stores and non corp stores at telus and someone who works in the inventory department and they havent heard of this .106

No it is not a rumour. The rep showed me the email. I wouldn't create a stir or mislead people given that the site is so helpful and I am equally excited about a leaked version just like everyone else. I tried most of the releases:86,90,96,99 and 103.

If .106 ends up being the official release then im going to pissed...unless its a lot more fluid than .103 is. But I highly doubt we will see many differences between .103 and .106.

Verizon supposedly prides itself in its rigorous testing process... as we can see that didn't work out so well this time. They used to take a year or more to put a phone out after its testing, which is part of why they were so far behind it seemed on the latest and greatest phones. They've since loosened up a bit and streamlined it, but as we can all tell, they just market blitzed this phone and are trying to fix it now.

Only one of the Vodaphones (Greece) and it was the launch firmware for them
