I thought Telus was CDMA, but they are advertising the Iphone4 as coming soon. How is that possible?

I think they're both. There's no way they'd get the iPhone 4 if they were CDMA.

Yes, they both have recently added a GSM network. The iPhone has been available through both carriers for a while now and they will be releasing the iPhone4 when it drops.

    From Wikipedia:
    Wireless HSPA+ Network Upgrade
Telus signed an agreement with Nokia Siemens Networks and Huawei to create an overlay HSPA network that will run along side its existing CDMA network. The network launched on November 5, 2009. The network, jointly built by Bell and Telus, is the largest HSPA+ network in Canada, covering over 93% of the Canadian population.
