    (Make that Talk and Surf)

    Hello

Just came back to Verizon (work forced) happy with the phone actually working better however I do miss the ability to tether and talk and the same time...is there a hack or something that I can load?

I thought about using Skype and buying a number so I can make phone to phone calls via the laptop but there has to be a better eaiser way?

    Right? Thanks

Sorry, there is no hack for this. Its not a software problem, its a radio problem. CDMA (the network Verizon, Sprint, a few others use) does not support voice and data at the same time. GSM (like AT&T, T-Mo, etc.) does support it. That's what Luke Wilson is going on about in the AT&T commercials.

    Thanks MR O

So what do you think a good work around is for what I need to do?

Should I use skype or maybe even magic jack to my laptop when I am remote....ie sometimes we camp in our camper and I go a day early to have quiet time with no kids and work from the camper. I need a way to make phone calls and still be online.

I used to have a skype number...does Google have something like that?

Sorry these are kind of noob questions.
