For some unknown reason, I have lost the ability to Sync PocketInformant with my PC (Outlook). The regular Blackberry sync seems to work, although I only have it syncing Contacts for my phone’s address book. Everything else, including Contacts gets synced with PI.

When I attempt to sync, I get this message:

“Pocket Informant synchronization interface tables not found. Please make sure that PocketInformant is installed, reset your device and try again.

If this does not help please uncheck PocketInformant sync add-in, sync, and then enable it back and try again.”

I have done all of this more than once with no fix. Now, here is some more. In Desktop Manager, when I try to “Synchronize Certificates”, I get the following message:

“One or more required databases are not present on the device or may not be accessible because of IT Policy. Please make sure that all of the necessary device software is installed, and contact your administrator to ensure that IT Policy does not prohibit this operation.”

    I am not using BES.

So, this is what I have right now. I have reinstalled both Desktop Manager (v.5) and the latest PI build. If anyone can help, I would really be thankful. If you have instructions for any fix, please be specific.

    Thanks so much!
