If I were to get my storm 2 unlocked and stick an AT&T sim card in there, would there be an easy way to switch between my verizon number and at&t number? Or would I have to remove the AT&T sim card in order for my verizon number to work?

Well your att info is on the sim, so when you switch to the sim your number will switch to the att one. However, the storm will always so the cdma number in your phone menu.

so would I be able to switch back and forth with gsm to cdma? Like go into the menu somewhere and select when I want to use the gsm sim card network and when to use my primary vzw line?

Manage Connections / Mobile Network Options / Network Technology

I tried and tried to find a macro or script to toggle between but never had any luck. This isn't terrible but it would be cool to have a tool that can tell which one you are on and switch then assign it to the smart button on the side.

So going from global to gsm will allow me to switch between the gsm sim card line and the vzw line without them messing with each other within the US? I am assuming global is vzw cdma line and selecting gsm/utms will activate the at&t line and suspend the vzw line?

If you select Global the phone will select the network for you based on availability. If you select GSM you will force the phone to your AT&T SIM, and when you want to use your Verizon number you switch to CDMA. They won't conflict but you could possibly see some service book issues. Each time you switch you will register with the Blackberry Service on the current network. That can cause you to have to re-send your service books within the BIS server. To avoid this you can simply turn data off on the carrier where you will NOT be using a BIS server.

Okay so if vzw network isnt available would it automatically switch to gsm and automatically switch back to vzw when it is available? I dont use data on the at&t line so how would I go about disabling the data on the gsm network so I would have to keep reregistering when I switch back to verizon?
