Hi ALL -- We launched a new product called SwipeLock this week at the BlackBerry conference! It's an all-in-one device/screen locking application. It has the TalkLock features so your face can't press the screen during phone calls, plus you can lock your device and unlock using a unique finger swipe pattern on the touch screen. (Better than typing in a password 20 times a day!) It also brings Standby Mode to the Storm - saves battery life and prevents accidental screen/button presses when you're not using the device.

Does StormSlider allow you to have a custom image? That's the only thing I see this having a (small) advantage over it. Also, does this (or stormslider) keep activating the screen (and backlight) every time the screen is pressed?

I'm looking for a lock that will not drain my battery if I forget to lock it and put it in my pocket.

PatternLock fixed these features mentioned in the 884 updates Tatra sent out.

It was on promotion, but $2.99 is VERY well worth the price...
