So I'm on lyricidal's .148/5.0
and all is well minus the camera.
The camera is freaking out, unable to save, unable to focus.
So I was wondering, can I crackutil the net_rim_bb_camera.cod file with a previous version?
or is there more to it than that?

and if so... what OS had the best camera?

.148 camera is the fastest its ever been while still having autofocus...which i like...

My very first storm had a messed up camera and it would take blurry pictures even with auto focus. I was running .75 @ the time so I returned it for the one I have now I'm on .148 and no problems since.

i understand .148 is great when functional.
In this situation it's not.
So I'm asking for an alternative
and more importantly if the camera.cod swap is enough to fix the issue.

dunno, the hybrid i had before .148 used some 5.0 files, and the camera was different. no auto focus, just point and click, and fast as lightning.

if your camera isn't functioning, i suggest wipe, and re-load the OS...

make sure that all other OS builds are uninstalled from the machine prior to the OS upgrade. that has been causing problems for people...

Argh, just lost my paragraph.... I've felt .109 camera has best colors and focus. No problem using crackutil to put it in. .109 is still fast, maybe just a hair slower but worth it for better pics (or in your case for working pics).
