Here is a video I made last night opening up as many programs as I could to see how it would handle on the new .113 O/S.
Glad to hear I wasn't the only one that tinkers with it. I didn't make a video, but I opened almost every app I have installed (quite a few) to see how well the memory management worked. Started off at 35MB free and had 0MB free when I had everything open. Closed all the apps and had around 10MB free. The next morning it was up around 30MB. Still haven't needed or been forced to do a BP with .113 yet.
The best part was, even with 0MB of memory free, I didn't have any major hourglass/wait times like I expected.

that's the best proof that .113 is a nice OS - the memory actually recovers itself.
From snippets i've read, i'd imagine it to be much like a late build of 4.7.0.x; with support for BES 5.0 added on. I'd be more interested to see what 6.0 will bring to the table.
Coolness - I like to see when people are enjoying the Storm rather than complaining about it lol
I think the Storm is like any other consumer product out there. You tend to see alot more people complaining, than people praising. But that's only because people tend to like to complain about things.
The Storm is a great device, even with the .75 firmware it does what it is intended to do and does it quite capably... The people complaining have obviously never used a Touch Pro or a Samsung Omnia.... If you want to see lag, use one of those devices. I understand the Touch Pro is best used only with the stylus only and the touch interface disabled.

i hear yathere man, i hate...HATED trying out the omnia liked the build...like the size and all...but the device itself sucked....big time.

Yep, garbage collection and memory management is great. Except for a few apps, Google Maps w/ Latitude and Weatherbug (I have no proof, but it seems those two are the worst), it seems it's doing a pretty decent job recovering.
FYI, put your finger on the screen before you bring up device info if you plan on using that to cover the info. I see all the info clearly at :20 secs into video.
I have also noticed a fairly good memory recovery in .109. Earlier today I checked and was at 25 MB. I figured in a few hours I'd do a battery pull. When I checked a couple of hours later I was at 41.8 MB of free memory...41.8 is close to what I have after a battery pull.
