Both of my phones with Verizon(the current one being a BB Pearl) have had almost zero lag.

I was at a birthday party for my neighbor's 2 yr. old last night. You have to be quick to get a good shot and I was amazed how slow it was too. The quality of the picture was very good, but a 2 yr. old won't pose lol. I also had people yelling at me that the flash was very bright.

My problem is that the flash acts as a spot light while focusing, this is what blinds peopel by the time the Picture is taken my subjects have spots in their eyes from staring at the bright light for too long
