    Searched the forum but did not find any topic like this.
    I got a unlocked Storm on T-mobile network. Date plan works fine on its EDGE network. As far as I know this BB sports 3G GSM network as well as CDMA. Why does it recognize T-mobile's 3G network? How can I make it work?

    Doesn't matter it's not going to work. The current Storm only supports the 2100MHz 3G frequency.

    Most RF chips these days are software driven so it's most likely a software limitation. This has nothing to do with carriers, it's a device limitation.
