I really like the Storm. Currently, I have a curve 8330 but i really want this damn phone ahah. so, my question is, would it be possible to purchase this phone and unlock it some how to work on the sprint network? I am a newbie to this world.

nope not gonna happen. you could use the storm on another gsm network but not another cdma

To add - cuz when you post a question, you typically like more than one answer - blueberry23 is absolutely correct. Sprint will only activate phones that are in their ESN database - Sprint labled phones - and none else.
