With the gap and slidey screen I am super afraid to use it in the rain. Has anyone successfully attempted this yet? With a name like the Storm it sure seems to fail against rain =/

I wouldn't use any phone in the rain, why would the storm be any different?
I second that!

I say try it. Hopefully you have insurance or $499 to get it replaced.
Are you crazy! Why risk ruining a perfectly good phone.

I try not to let any of my phones out in the rain if I can help it. If I do, I try to cover it up with something.
If you're really in need of an all-weather phone, I'd look into getting the G'zOne. Nice tough waterproof phone, and VZW carries it.
sarcasm start> Guys can I use my laptop when its raining I am worried about the rain getting in between the keys.. </sarcasm
;)
seriously.. the gap isn't any bigger then gaps on many other phones it wont be bad if its drissling out but if its raining don't press your luck with any phone..
I thought that the question was outrageous and that it deserved an outrageous answer. I wouldn't risk my perfectly good phone testing the theory, so he (or she) should use theirs.
LoL gotcha
