    I believe you have to set the mass storage option to "On."

    When you plug it into your computer, it should ask you on your storm if you want to enable mass storage mode. Choose yes.

    Sounds like the OP wants to make the Storm actually get recognized as a hard disk drive instead of as a removable storage device. I'm not sure if it can be done.

    It can be recognized only as removeable type drive, since it is flash and not HDD.
