Suppose you vote, and the person you vote for (let's call him George Bush) gets into office and proceeds to screw everything up. Well, YOU voted them in, YOU are part of the problem, YOU have no right to complain. Assuming I didn't vote, I have absolutely nothing to do with the problem(s) the person YOU voted in created, and have every right to complain as loudly as I want about the mess YOU helped create, and I had nothing to do with.

And what about those of us who returned the phone? Posters such as asmallchild (fitting name, I know) are too ignorant to realize people actually, at one point, owned the phone and returned it (go figure). I owned this phone and still deal with it everyday (family and coworkers have them). I think I am just as credible as anybody. I have updated my coworkers phones to every leaked OS so far and my opinion of this phone has improved somewhat. The hardware is where the downfall is. Its pathetic build quality and pathetic plastic parts are a joke.

RIM needs to get away from touchscreen devices and stick with what they're good at.

Fact, VZW offers 4 Smartphones with WiFi..., RIM came out and said WHY the 9530 didn't have WiFi not VZW...if it was VZW being evil why doesnt Telus/Bell have wifi on the storm? The only storm that WILL have wifi is one that isnt even out yet and doesn't even have a release date as of now nor are all components verified. We have no idea what is missing from the 9520 that is on the 9530 (like CDMA chip?)

Here's another fact..VZW REQUIRES data plans on all smart phones, you cannot get free inet. They have crippled wifi on dumbphones in the past because they had no way to make people pay for data on them. Carry on smart guy

NO ONE is stuck with the storm ok...everyone had 30 days to get rid of it period no questions asked take any device, and dont give me some "VZW doesn't have any other phones I want BS" bc that means you do want the storm.

Now I can see some people kept with it hoping for it to get better and got passed their 30 days (maybe RCCollins) but guess what you can still hock the phone on Ebay for what you paid (unless if you bought it outright which is moronic for any phone). You would have to try hard to not get $200 for a good condition storm on ebay or atleast be within $20. So STFU and get rid of it if you hate it. Ranting is one thing but if you HATE the phone get rid of it or STFU because you're either full of it and dont hate it or just love to complain and hang on to it just to whine.

Despite the commentary from one of our resident trolls, who has pretty well shown s/he doesn't know what s/he is talking about, the simple fact is that times are changing. RIM can no longer afford to sit around and take their time to get a phone just right before releasing it. Where they were once the only real game in town, now they have Apple and WinMo phones starting to breathe down their necks. So the Storm ended up being pushed out the door before it was ready software wise given its ambition, and that means some of the initial bumps are a bit bigger.

You can whine and complain about it all you like, it's the way things are likely going to be from here on out.

I think that the only reason the storm was released so early was due to greedyness on the part of RIM. Not because they couldn't release a finished product.

If they really can't do that, then they are incompetent. Plain and simple. As is any other company that does that. They are pushing each other in that direction then, while if they just would keep their heads cool then users would notice soon enough that phone A is released as crap and phone B is released a month or two later but is superior and finished. This is something that will get consumers to choose for the B phone after just having bought one or two misses. Any arse that thinks differently is just so hung up on the marketing crap they have studied that they are starting to believe in their own (the industries that is) lies and will defend it whether their arguments make sense or not, all from a "business point of view". Which is a nice way of saying: F you and the product, we just want your cash.

There are certain people in certain industries, especially technology and medicine, who are pushing this. And something will go wrong very badly at some point in time and then they will learn. Or not, because they have a massive concrete plate infront of their faces. Luckily in medicine that stuff has forcibly been put on brakes by law. Other industries have not as of yet.

Its the same as it went in the financial sector. Everyone was acting like they knew what they were talking about and everyone bought into it. Even the so called specialists and because of that, also the rest of the sheep, being the population of course. Financial laws will also be restricted in the near future, restrictions are already being put in place. Obama told me just a moment ago. Yes, he is among us here on crackberry.

Its just crap. People hyping people just for their own profit. I can't believe so many people are that way. They should all be sh*t in place No doubt about it. That kind of person ruins other people due to the kind of behavior they are promoting. But of course in their eyes that isn't so. Sorry but even CX said the excuse the Storm doesn't have Wi-Fi was a straight up LIE. My 8900 is smaller and way lighter than the Storm and it was GPS (that works) and Wi-Fi. The Bold has 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS.

VZW DID NOT DISABLE AND OR PREVENT THE STORM FROM HAVING WIFI. This would require RIM saying here's a device with Wifi and VZW saying nah we dont allow that. If that were the case TELUS/BELL would have wifi on their storm...WHAT dont you get about this simple concept?

I have to admit stupidity pisses me off. Well having a bad day at work doesn't help lol . In all sincerity hating the storm is fine..no one has to like it for me to care. But if you hate something get rid of it..simple as that. If I hated my tv I wouldnt keep using it..if I hated a shirt, I wouldnt wear it...hate a food joint...dont eat there! Hate a phone that can easily be sold for enough money to buy another phone..then get rid of it!!!

This goes for everything in life that can easily be done without..obviously if you hate your house or car you can't just sell it but come on folks..quit acting like the storm being a "failure" (which is subjective) affects you one bit unless if its a work provided phone that you aren't allowed to swap in which case it affects your employer more than you.

-Support for for MDDI, the Storm has MDDI?
-Support for stereo output, the Storm has stereo output?
-Support for external Bluetooth, the storm has it???
