I'm sure if Verizon were actually making the Storm available today, they'd have finally switched to far more obvious indicators than a date on an image of the device and the words "available now" on the screen of the device in a video. They've been attacking the viral marketing angle big-time for the Storm, but when it comes time to actually makes sales and rake in profits, they're going to want everyone to know, not just the people with the time and patience to sit online and follow the trail of breadcrumbs.
agreed , but the now avaiable thing on the screen has to mean something .. verizion cant just put that there and expect people to think it was an accident . yah know >?

In all honesty, they could say the email/document that was being written was
"Hey Cheryl, change the storm website on the 16th to read
Storm now available on Verizon Wireless, America's most reliable network"
Be sure to not change the website prior to the 16th.
there is a sweepstakes that ends on the 15th so i dont think it will be out tomorrow. I didnt see anyting about nov . 3rd either.
Just putting 2+2 together..
Contest starts the 6th... ends the 15th.. I would say they will start announcing the release date on the 6th to build hype... a week in advance letting people know "look... the 15th... this phone is coming out"
And they are holding the contest and ending it on the 15th because thats the day it "officially" comes out. Sounds like something Verizon would do.
