    Well um, it's the physical sound of the screen being clicked. It's not software, it's the actual screen hitting the button that makes the "noise"

    There are two things happening. One is the faint click you hear when you depress the physical button below the screen. The other, if you have that preference enabled, is an audible click that comes out of the speaker. You can turn off the latter.
