Hey guys,

I went into my local Verizon store and wanted some info on the official release of the new os for the storm 9530, and I got an interesting response. The guy told me in exactly 3 weeks its going to be released.

Of course, it's hard for me to believe this, since we have been hearing rumors about the new os. So we will see hopefully, soon enough if this rumor is true.
I just wanted to share it with you guys.

the reason they say "two weeks" is to keep us all from switching carriers

I was in my local store today also (exchanging my storm) and the manager said he was running the new OS on his storm and that it was .116 and that it was coming within two weeks. He also said three new berries by the end of the year, not the pearl flip that phone didn't do well on their network.

I wonder how many leaked OSs are going to come out and how many people are gonna freak over rumors before Verizon actually releases an official OS. I really would like to know how their coming along on getting one out, but you never hear anything. Aside from VZ reps who know nothing. I'll believe it when I get a message on my blackberry telling me that there is an OS upgrade available wirelessly.
