Why would they release older software when much newer -- and likely superior software -- is clearly already available for the device or are the much talked about .119 and .120, .130. .140 etc not that impressive and incredibly problematic?
Just because RIM is up to .150 or whatever internally doesn't mean those are tested and ready from the carriers. More than likely VZW got .113 or whatever 6 - 8 weeks ago and has been testing it and now ready to release it. meanwhile, they may be one or two weeks into testing a newer build that will be released later. Also, RIM doesn't send all builds to VZW. For all we know, VZW has only had a couple builds in testing at any given time. So don't be surprised if .113 does become an official, but consider that .130 or soemthing could come down the pipe in a month or so after testing.
when/if we ever got flick scroll i'll think it is funny because no one will believe it until it is on their device.. and they probably still won't believe it than. haha
