One of the few things that has always bugged me about my S1 is the way it can't play a notification tone while playing an MP3 via headphones or speaker. (My kid's 8100 can do this!!)

Can the S2 do this, or like the S1 the music will stop, then notification will play, then the music continues?

known issue i believe. havent heard of a work arund besides setting your alerts to vibe or silent.

my curve didnt have this problem =/

This is one of the features RIM needs to get into their OS along with OpenGL ES, WebKit Browser, and installing apps on the memory card.

Once they do that the 3D apps and games will flood in. The Developers Conference is coming up. Let's hope we hear some big announcements on some of these fronts!
