I have been asked by someone at work to backup his entire storm 2.

I am wicked good with the iphone but know nothing about the blackberries.

He wants contacts, texts, and voicemail backed up because he has a message from his late parents on there.

Is there a way to do this seemlessly. On my jailbroken iphone I just drag 3 files over and save them every week. Simple.

Thanks for anyones help on this as I do not have the time to read a million posts as I know you may want me to.

    thanks a bunch....

Load Desktop Manager (available from the CD that came with the phone, or download from blackberry.com). Connect the phone, and click the "Backup" button.

voicemail is stored on your carriers server, not your phone...You could forward the voicemail to email if you want (that is, with VVM).

Hmm... I actually own a BlackBerry Storm2 9550 (and a 9530) on Bell Canada... Don't know where you are coming from with the iPhone... I don't owe one.

I have no intention of ever touching an Apple Device due to their abysmal policies towards developers.

I also have no intention of switching to Android...

I do plan on switching to the Torch 9800 though...
