Ok I have not had my music files from Rhapsody since going to 5.0. I however do have Rhapsody seeing my phone now. If I have Mass Storage mode on it will see the phone. If I turn it off it will not find the phone. When it is on it shows the two drive letters for phones internal memory, and for the 8gb card. Now when I try to transfer to either of them it tells me I must purchase the tracks.
Here is how my memory settings are set:
Compression: Enabled
Media Card Support: On
MTP: On
Mass Storage Support: ON
Auto Enable Mass Storage: Yes

Reason: error
same problem! Driving me insane! Noone seems to have an answer.. I am ready to drop back to 4.7 unless someone can come up with a fix to this. OS should not effect the ability to transfer music should it?
Take a look at this thread. Give it a go. I went back to 4.7 since I couldn't get it working but I would reload .230 in a sec if someone can get rhapsody working.
Ihave to post 5 more to post the link. wait a second
Did this work for you Chi-town? I have tried on my new netbook which also has windows XP, I downloaded BBM 4.7 and nothing. Connected it to the computer here at work followed the steps and away it went.
This driver can be added by going to add hardware, search for new, click that hardware is already installed. when it doesn't find it find the drop down box and have it install USB Composite device.
Still has not fixed the issue but I think I'm getting close.
I got mine working.
I downloaded the verizon version of rhapsody.
then I disabled compression on the phone.
then I connected the phone and it was working.
I turned compression back on and rhapsody says i need to reformat.?
Hey guys. I am still having the same issues with Rhapsody as previously mentioned. I tried all of the fixes listed and it appears that all of the drivers are updated. Rhapsody works correctly in 4.7.148, but the phone disappears in 5.0.323. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
