I know as a general rule the smart phones usually come with a soft cover; case. Is that par for the course with the blackberry as well? Also do u think they might be throwing in a screen protector as well?

they all come with the standard lether pouch in the box, no screen protector. if you want a nice case you gotta buy it. the stock one is not bad but pretty basic

I don't believe the new Pearl 8220 comes with a case.
