Speed Dial Locations? Only 9?
- Is it me or does it seem like a phone that has such abilities yet only has 9 speed dials makes you wonder. How can this thing not have like 1000? Granted I'm a newbie to BB, I've had gadgets and cell phones for years and it's amazing how something so simple was overlooked.
Anyone know of an app that can increase the number of locations?02-07-09 11:00 AMLike 0 - I seem to recall hearing something about this being expanded in the future... But, there is a sort of Stormy way of getting around this. If you go to your contacts from the dialer app, and you click in the "Search" box at the top, if you start typing in letters it will start showing contacts that match that criteria.
So if I have 500 contacts, and I'm looking for "Jack", I just start typing in "jack" and it will start showing me all "J" contacts, then all "JA" contacts, etc. Probably within a couple of letters you'll have the person you're looking for on screen.02-07-09 11:29 AMLike 0 - I seem to recall hearing something about this being expanded in the future... I know no one's #. It's 33 send or whatever. Hunting for letters Is much harder than 2 numbers
