All of a sudden sounds I set for certain people when they send me texts doesn't work. I have it set on the contacts but it just sounds the main normal sound when they send me a text. Any ideas?

Did you try a battery pull? Mine does that sometimes, like it gets confused, & a pull usually puts it back like I have it set.

Yeah tried that and still nothing. Its so aggravating. Im pretty sure I have everything set. right. Even created a new sound profile with no success.

Also the phone ringtone I set works fine. Its just the sms tone that wont work.

Found it. I guess when I uploaded the backup assistant it downloaded the number from the web and stuck hyphens in the phone number. When you remove them the sms tones work again. How stupid.

Now that im thinking about it, I wonder if the BA changes it when it does its nightly checks. If so ill have to disable it which sucks.
