This may be noted somewhere else but I searched and could not find this problem. When I synced all my music to my blackberry using Media Sync, after taking ym phone off, it would look for all my music and it would go through and every song would show up for a few seconds in the Media application and then disappear. After it finished it would show 0 songs in All Songs. Using Explore and going to the music folder on my memory card, it showed all the songs and I could play it from there. A batt pull got them all in the media app but I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this?
Got the same problem here too. I would have to either reinsert the memory card or do a battery pull (the former usually works,if not the first time the second time). I'm using .100 in a 9500.
Mfoster7 you can explore by going to “Media” > BB button > “Explore”
Missing songs happened to me in all OSes since .75, though not like that, showing and right after disappearing. They usually disappear after reboots. The Storm's media player has a pretty bad management of the music library. My solution to restore corrupted databases is to search in the media card's music folder and delete all bbthumbs.dat files. I have to do that quite often.
