O.k., I noticed this completely by accident and just want to make sure it's normal.

Last night I had the battery out and I must have turned the phone, and I could hear something moving...like a loose part rolling around inside the phone.

I can also hear/feel it with the battery in, though not quite as much (if you give it a shake). Once I put the back cover on it seems to go away. I just wondered if others have this as well. I mean, I suppose it could be the accelerometer...but clueless.

Anyone else have this "loose part" noise?

The Xbox360 has a similar "loose part" noise, which is caused by the accelerometer.

It might be the little brass contacts that touch the battery door. They rattle when the door is off.

No! It's the screen! I noticed this today too...it only goes away when the battery is in and there is power-supply to the phone. Take the battery out, and it rattles. Very odd!
