    I am sitting here with a blackberry that says reload software 513.....and i need to know if my contacts will be on my phone when it turns back on?

    It was security wiped because someone tried to get in and did not know the password. and now there is a time out i think...

    No, all you data is wiped: contacts, messages and etc. It is a security feature.

    I hope you made a back up.
