IS there any good Hybrids out there worth loading up?
I'm going to load up the latest Java files (.634?) over .517 when i get home. I have been on OOAKDPC's .517/.591 hybrid for almost a week. It's been a nice OS, but i don't get the battery like i think I should have. I don't really want to try .607... yet.
I did it and downgraded a day later. BBM issues, battery drain at 12%/hour, java errors and some other things. It may work better for you, but its not for me. I tried one of the hybrids and the battery got worse.
so shouldn't you have asked if you should DOWNGRADE from .607 TO .517?
Reading comprehension would be great...and you're not going to get an unbiased answer...everyone has (and should have) their own opinions on which is better...
Guilty..lol...........I have not noticed any differences between 517 and 607. If you don't have any problems with 607 then stay with it. At least its an official release from Verizon.

I did downgrade from .607 to .517. The reason is that my favorite theme is acting fuzzy sometimes. I bought an application called instant log, I realized that it does not work with .607. It worked only after downgrading to .517.
Matter of fact, I had better reception with .607 than with .517 using T-Mobile.
None of the two OS's is perfect. If your .607 is causing you any trouble, downgrade. testing it will not hurt.
I downgraded as well. battery life was about 3%-5% drain with 607 with no usage. It's about 1% an hour for me now. Had a problem with opera mini as well although it was minor. The latest isn't always the greatest.
