Sorry for starting a new thread, but I could not find any information on this. Is there something I can do to avoid getting a SMS message every time I receive an e-mail???
Okay, I went to message options, general options, and enabled separate in SMS and Email Inboxes but I still receive an SMS Text every time I get an email... This is getting very annoying!

Are we talking a gmail account here? What type of email?
i don't have a storm, yet, but i have a curve.. how about going to ur message options and go to email settings and check if confirm read is set to "no" .. and send read receipts to "no" ? u can always try?
I think AOL 9.0 may have a feature that sends a text message when you recieve new emails. It has to be a problem on the aol side as BIS does not have that option...
What about receiving a text everytime I have a new voicemail? If someone has the answer can you give me step by step on how to navigate the menus? Thanks!
Greenflames, it is already set for that... I might have to change all my emails to a different carrier, possibly g-mail because it is annoying me every time receiving a text containing a ton of mumble jumble when I get an email
