Hi, I just got a bb storm 2 from verizon yesterday. I just had a few questions, the first thing is, I have two different icons on my home screen one says "messages" and other says "sms and mms". I was wondering why I have both and how to get rid of the "messages" icon? Also whenever I get a missed call i get a text message in the "messages" icon, this is annoying how do i get rid of it?

for the homescreen messages and sms & mms icons:

-Go into Messages
-Bring up the Menu via BB button
-Options>Inbox settings
-Check SMS and MMS to include all message types in Messages.

for the missed calls appearing in messages:

Open call log
Hit the BB key to bring up menu
Choose options
Choose Call Logging
Select None

The missed calls will no longer show in your messages, but will appear in your call log.

from the messages folder

bb button>options>inbox settings> check the "SMS and MMS" and you will only have 1 'messages' folder and all email and sms and mms will appear here. You can also leave the setting as is and just 'hide' the messages folder and use the individual email folders. your choice
