On my old blackberry there was an option that enabled the phone to search contacts when you typed the corresponding numbers... which was very handy as you then didn't need to go into the contacts to dial a number. Has anyone found a way to do this on the 9530 / Storm yet?

It is a bit different on Storm. You can press and hold the green phone button to bring up contacts and search the number.

or you can set the default screen as contacts and then type in the name and press send.

I have mine set to recent calls though
