    If it's new, it prolly has the .75 OS on it. .75 was a stability upgrade from .65, not a speed one IMO. Newer OSes are faster but none are officially released yet.

    Here are the momory numbers:
    app mem = 36.8 Meg
    dev mem = total space = 879.2 Meg
    free space = 766.6 Meg
    media card = 7.3 Gig

    If you feel daring enough, try it...

    I wouldn't advise you to try and update the OS though.

    Wait until an official OS comes out, which should be soon- according to the "powers that be".

    If that doesn't work, try placing all the Apps you don't use in a folder so that you can clean up some "desktop" space.
