Am I the only one who has sh*T for a signal?

My RF performance went to sh*t, too. Sucks. My local VZW store said others with the Storm have been complaining about the same thing as well.

I started looking at the bars when I was noticing really poor internet connectivity -- I kept getting errors when attempting to get to web sites and the reception on phone calls was not as good as my 8830.

My phone seems to stay around -110dBm to -116 dBm no matter where I am, and occasionally goes to around -93dBm. Is that good or bad?

Updated with *228 and no difference so far per suggestions in another thread.

This is in suburban NYC and suburban Philadelphia.

I would say mine is about the same as my previous phone. I did not switch carriers, and have had Verizon for about 4 years now. No problems here.

I don't think, in my case, it's the signal. There's something wrong with the radio. The signal is pretty consistently at -110dB. However, it won't stay on 1XEV. It keeps cycling through to EV, D, etc. I'm praying that the software updates fix this. I love my phone and don't have many of the other issues that others have been complaining about.

I was hoping the update would fix it, but it didn't :-( I LOVE the storm but I think I might go to the Bold. I just can't see paying $100/month fora phone i can't even useinmy own home.
