Have a very stable 75. Would like better battery life and the text selection but don't know if its worth the risk. I am on a BES. Should I upgrade to a different OS

Upgrade to 132. It's good and has less bugs than 141. If you want the security of an "official" build, .122 was released from a Canadian carrier and has been certified, though not by Verizon.

.122 was actually certified by two Canadian carriers.

.122 is not worth your time, had it for a good while and it was nothing but buggy, don't understand how bell could release such a buggy os. i suggest .141 - i have been using it for a couple of weeks now and am loving it. if you follow the methods stickied in this forum you shouldnt have a single problem!

I don't know the ramifications to BES, but the best OS I've run on this phone is Lyricdal's .141/5.0 Hybrid (http://forums.crackberry.com/f132/95...d-beta-204517/). It's very stable, fast, great battery life and easy to install.

If you're on a BES, you have to deal with your company's IT policies. If they allow you to install applications, etc on your company Blackberry, then you should be fine. You will need to do it on a machine with DM connected to the BES or you will need an activation password from your BES administrators.

Just make sure your clear on your company's policies before you do anything to the phone.

IT policy restricts downloading of any kind. Not sure if that includes the OS. I do have my activation password. Have had to activate several phones. They password has always been the same. Not sure what IT would think of a leaked OS. Maybe wait for .148
