I really dont like the update process since I have to go through the browser and type in the password for the sites I go to and then also go into all my apps and once again type in all the usernames/passwords.
is there a compelling reason to go to .85 from .83?
its more stable for me, but if you're having no issues with .83 i'd pass. only problem i had with 83 was that my bbm was freezing up the unit if i used it (frustrating...) the other issues everyone has reported seem to have skipped my unit. (i always do clean installs and never upgrades, probably why i have fewer issues)
I have .83 and am not going to upgrade to .85. I don't see any reason to as .83 works perfect for me. I also hate asking my BES admin for a new password everytime. He is cool about it, but I still feel bad asking for a new one so often.

.85 was much different for me than .83. There seemed to be some issues with .83 I didn't see until after some time went by. It's not hard and there are LOTS of post out there on how to do the JL_CMDR wipe. I was going from .65>.76>.83>.85 Among all that I kept restoring information that took me back to .76, so I did the JL_CMDR deal like SIX times! I was an expert after about an hour. It's easy as long as you follow the steps.
I upgraded from .83 to .85 without a wipe, I was having some problems with the phone freezing. I then decided to do a full wipe, then loaded .85 back on, and now my phone is better then ever. .85 is def the best running OS for me at this point.
Upgraded to .83 from .75 loved it. then upgraded to .85. Battery sucked royally. Downgraded back down to .83. No complaints with .83. I would stick with .83 if you are happy with it. Until I hear that a version OS is going to be a final one for a while, thats when ill jump on it.
