    Hi,

I always like touchscreen phone but when I first got my 9700, 9520 wasn't available. Is 9520 worth switching into? I am really concern with the battery and the 3G speed.

    Thanks,

your battery life will probably be cut in half and maybe a little worse and you will lose 3G. But you still have WIFI available if that is an option for you.

Are there any carriers where you are that have a S2 you can play with? That's the only way you could compare the speed. As to the battery, I don't know how long your 9700 runs on a charge, but I get about 36 to 48 hours, if I don't plug it in overnight. My S2 has been the best phone I've owned, but some that come to it from a physical keyboard model have adjustment issues. Again, you need to find one you can play with.

O, battery cut by half is bad compare from 9700. Why will I lose 3G? It does support HSPDA 2100. Is it because 9700 support all the HSPDA frequency.

My 9700 battery can last 48 hours for sure. I played with a S2 before, Its really cool and the big screen.

Yea I like 9700 but also got no problem with on-screen keyboard. Especially the S2 has a better keyboard than any touch screen phone.

9700 is superior to the S2. Battery life is day and night. In fact, the 9700 has the best battery life out of all Blackberry phones. The S2 is a fun phone, but you will eventually want the 9700 back.

I do not understand why people ask these questions, do your research, determine what your needs are, then match up the phone. I am not asking anyone if I should get the Incredible, I am just going to do it.

If you want a much larger screen that's touch then yes. If you plan to browse the web a lot on your BB, the S2 is definitely a better way to go.
