Shazam NOT working with OS 5.0.0.203
- Just updated my Storm2 to 5.0.0.607 last night. Shazam is broken for me as well. Like others have mentioned, it crashes at Setup. I tried Robert's trick, but it did not work for me. I reported this problem to Shazam support. Hopefully robinshazam can take a look at it for us now that 607 is official.04-06-10 10:12 AMLike 0

Please accept my apologies for the delay in getting back to you caused by
the Bank Holiday weekend.
I'm afraid that the app is currently not supported by all of the newly
released 5.0 OS builds (official and Beta) - our development team are
working on updating the app to function correctly with the new builds. In
the meantime, if you're willing/able to downgrade to an earlier OS, this
will enable you to use Shazam again. If not, I'll be keeping your details to
hand and will be back in touch the moment the software has been updated with
a direct link to download/update - V.2.5.2 is expected imminently.
Sincere apologies for the disruption to your service, I hope to be back in
touch very soon.

I just upgraded to OS 5.0.0.607 that Verizon released yesterday. Now 98% of
the time when trying to tag a song I get error #1205 "Sorry, unable to
complete tagging as recording was interrupted. Do you want to retry? Just
thought I would let you guys know... Also I had a little trouble activating
again but when trying it right after pulling the battery, it let me
activate.
I'm sure this is due to a change in the new OS... Are you aware of the error
and working on an update?

04-08-10 03:14 PMLike 0 - I think most of us are on other carriers... I am on VZW so I'm sorry but I have no reason to know those APNs... Have you tried calling Cricket Tech Support? You might even try Shazam Tech Support... They are awesome and always get right back to me via email...
Do you have other programs that are working properly? It could be that Shazam is dependant on BIS as at the top of mine when it sets up it says BIS... Do you have BB Data Services on your current plan?04-08-10 03:19 PMLike 0 -
