On you phone select the setup icon, then you are given three choices setup wizard, setup blue tooth or email setup. Pick email setup. click on your email address & scroll down to make changes.

Removed the carrier ad out of mine and changed it to:

I initially removed the carrier but decided to put it back as it could be useful information to the recipient (I use my BB primarily for personal correspondence, so anyone who might want to call or text may want to know my carrier), so mine reads: "Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Storm". Sounds sooo pretentious, though... haha.

ok, sorry, i know i'm lame, but where, exactly, do you change this? setup/email is great, but it really means nothing unless it's in context. Is this on the phone, on the VZW site...where??

Login to your BIS account & make the changes. It would not update using my Curve so even with my Storm I just go there to edit my accounts via a computer.

Yep, changed it the day I got the storm.

My sig is similar to how I sign off in Outlook, with name and phone. No need to advertise for VZN or RIM, and it sort of felt like 'look at me, I have a Blackberry' sort of thing.

Hmm, I cannot seem to access the BIS site for Verizon customers. The link has changed but I went to the newly updated link.

When I enter my username and password, it says invalid.

When I email the password to my PIN, it says I have no account and must set one up on the computer.

When I go to the computer and try to set up a new account, it says there's already an account registered to the PIN.

HUH?! What gives?

I get comments about it all the time. People reply back with "How are you liking that Storm?" or "Does it really kick ***?".



I actually use "a" not "@" and "ss" not "$$"...stupid curse-police on the forum wouldn't let me put the real thing.

That is beautiful. Too bad I only know three people with Jesus Phones and I only ever e-mail one of them.

I'd like my signature (Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Storm) to sound a bit less... snotty, but I'm proud to be a Storm owner, dammit! And despite having a love/hate relationship with Verizon, I think my carrier is good information to have in my signature for people who may want to call or text.
