I'm on my second Storm 2 and both had the same problem (as did my Storm 1). The SD card slips out of it's slot and I lose what's on the card until I remove the battery cover and push it back up and in. It's really annoying and happens quite frequently. I'm surprised I couldn't find any thereads on this.

Anyone else having this problem - and anyone have a solution?

Does your battery door have the metal piece welded to the back that lines up with the SD card? If my SD card isn't inserted fully, the door will push it in when clicked on.

I'm using the Seidio extended battery and their battery door - apparently they left that feature out!

I have tried taping a small piece of cardboard to hold the SD card in, but, not matter how I've tried, it doesn't work!

thanks for the clarification on the battery door feature!
