I was checking my contact list and noticed that my wife was at the top with about 10 listings of her and then she was also in the normal spot under the "S"s. Anyone else got this I tried to delete and remake her as a contact and it did the same thing.

That is very odd. I haven't had that problem with either my S2 or my S1. Maybe you should call VZW tech and see what they say

Oddly enough I still needed to download google maps so I did that and rebooted the phone. Everything is good now. Still weird though.

Do you have the box on your gmail set up to sync contacts? If so uncheck it and get the list straight. There is a problem with the sync client.
