- On mine, when I plug the device into the computer with the USB, I get 2 removable drives,Blackberry, "L" and "M". The second drive, "M" for me, I click on it using Windows Explorer, and you should see a "home" directory. Click on it and you should see a "user" directory. Just copy it there, into the "user" directory. That's it. Unplug the phone and reset the phone. You should see the new BG when you use the phone app. Hope it helps.
What system are you using?12-21-08 05:13 PMLike 0 - I also tried to change the background with no luck placed the png into
The device>home>users also I'm doing it on a mac....any suggestions?

- For some reason I can't get the program to work properly. Talk Lock allows one touch of the screen before it activates. Meaning that while I'm calling, if I hit speaker phone, the speaker phone activates THEN the talk lock slide pops up. I've tried the settings suggested in this thread but can't get the program to stop that First screen contact. Anyone else have this problem?12-21-08 06:32 PMLike 0

Tom.12-21-08 06:52 PMLike 0 - Just a couple resources melted together...
I am not taking credit for this at all...
Thanks to stevcha for introducing the product and unctarheels for the heads up on the OTA link (down now)!!! It's awesome!
Now for changing the background...
I found a file, opened it in MS Paint, saved it as "TalkLock-Background.png", saved it to desktop. I tethered my BB to my laptop. I opened up "F:\home\user" and pasted the .png file there...pull the battery, count to 30, put it back in, call voicemail.
Good luck all.
PS It is a Beta.12-21-08 07:30 PMLike 0 - I'm also having the same trouble trying to find this "user" file. I only see Device and Media. When I open Device, its blank. I'm guessing when you said you have to "unhide" folders, you meant the on the phone. Did that, no luck still.12-21-08 07:47 PMLike 0

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com12-21-08 07:56 PMLike 0 - I cant get my files to show either. I have no options to hide/show under the folder properties. I went under my main Folder Options folder and I still couldn't get them to show up. All I get is general information, model name, battery life... Im on vista.
Or do I need to unhide the folders on the storm?12-21-08 08:18 PMLike 0 - I cant get my files to show either. I have no options to hide/show under the folder properties. - I got it now.
You need to go to Options>Memory>Mass Storage Media Support(TURN TO ON)
I also had to turn to on the auto enable, the option appears after you turn on MSMS. Also unplug your phone and exit out of any folder, re plug in the phone and re open computer folder.
Edit:// Are you guys resizing your own pictures? Whats the size?Last edited by cguerra54; 12-21-08 at 09:02 PM.
12-21-08 08:54 PMLike 0 - as soon as you plug yourphone in it should open a promtbox asking what you want to do with drive E,and F choose open folder for drive f you should see the home folder... open it...then open user folder....drag and drop your PNG
....and yes you must have mass media enabled12-21-08 08:54 PMLike 0
