Dropped my Storm1 yesterday (had it since Nov 08) and the screen went black. Weirdest thing though, if I hold it horizontally, push in on the center and pull back on the top and bottom the screen works again. Sometimes it stops working again when I let go, other times it continues to work for a bit then goes back.
I've got 2 months until an upgrade and was kinda waiting for the Storm3, but this obviously isnt going to work.
The screen obviously works it sounds to me like a connection problem. Any thoughts? If I was to take it apart, where would I buy one of those little torx head screw drivers?
I'm not sure what the problem would be but if you have insurance I wouldn't take it apart. Otherwise, you can buy the torx heads individually at a local hardware store. I bought mine at a True Value. Not sure if there are any in your area but there are other small hardware stores that have them.
