Didn't know how to word this well.

There have been 2 different opinions as to whether pressing and holding the BB menu key displays Aps that are 'running' and most recently run Aps.

I believe i have proved, byond a doubt that pressing and holding the menu key displays RUNNING Aps.

i installed ICQ. i put one of my contacts in an Alarm Mode. i closed ICQ. i went to the main display (all icons) menu. i then pressed and held the BB menu button. it displayed a number of program icons including ICQ.

i then went back to ICQ and stopped the alert function-then closed ICQ. i went to the main menu display again; pressed and held the BB menu buttion and the ICQ icon was gone.

there you go. it was a recently run Ap but closed so it didn't show up.

    question answered!

that's what i was trying to say but didn't offer as a conclusion. Sorry.

other debates were that it shows the most recently run. i was only trying to show-as you say-it displays Aps that are running.

    Thanks!
