It will stay open for about three monutes than the roxio media program just shuts down on its own leaving me with a semo downloaded file. It happens every time. Whay could it be?

I had the same issue...once I removed and re-installed the dm from the website instead of the cd, it resolved the issue for me...

I recommend not using Media manager at all. Just drag and drop from your PC. Media manager is slow and there are better free converter solutions available.
