I am on Rogers. Using a hybrid that includes the .90 radio file. The phone is from Verizon and unlocked of course. It came with .75 and while the radio worked great, everything else did not. I have upgraded a few times to different OS. Usually having to resort to the .90 radio as the rest did not connect to EDGE at all.
Though even with .90 I find on a reboot I sometimes have to reboot twice. Or turn of the Radio and then back on. The .90 Radio file has also caused a few VSODs and other kind of unplanned reboots/crashes.
What are you using?
What are your experiences with EDGE connections?
Please let me know, I am really getting bumbed out with this.
