I just noticed today that my Roaming Indicator seems to turn on at random. I'm running .99 and I am on an old plan, but still within my home area. I've got the phone set to 1xEV only. I've never had this issue before, has anyone else had this happen?
edit: Oh yea, turning off the radio and turning it back on removes the indicator. I'm guessing a bug maybe?
oh nice I didnt know that was possible. you said "The issues is on the OS .99", was this reported somewhere else? (I never ran .90 either by the way, I went from .75 to .99 because it seemed like this one got the best reviews)
I ended up going back to .75 to see if it was the OS and not something else I did to my phone, and I haven't had the indicator yet. I'm going to assume that it's something they've changed with the radio code.

LOL.....I had to do a battery pull bout an hour ago and haven't had it pop up since. Before that though it was on and my wife's wasn't and they were sitting right beside each other........

I find that even just turning the radio on and off gets rid of the indicator, but it does seem to show up at random.
Yeah I'm not too worried bout it though. We Just switched from alltel (alltel and at&t are bout the only 2 carriers here) and even with alltel our phones would show roaming on occasion at our house.
