I just got my first blackberry, and it's the storm. Lately, when I connect my bluetooth, and I attempt to use the voice dial, the screen freezes and just says "initializing". I have to remove the battery to get it back to normal, and then, I have no problems. Then, my phone won't ring....at all....no matter what the settings. I took it to the store, they did a soft reset (removed the battery), then it was fine. Then, a few hours later, it stopped ringing again. Anyone having the same issues, or any other fixes other than taking out the battery all the time?
I'd suggest updating the OS. Even with a leaked one. The out of box OS is almost useless. .99 is fairly stable, or the .103/.106 hybrid.
IT's not too complicated if you follow the instructions posted in the OS section. Most problems such as that are OS/Module related, especially when it works after a battery pull.
