A couple months ago, I moved on from the Bold 9000 to the S2 and need to find a way to restore only the SMS data from a previous 9000 backup to the new S2. Searched here but I could only find similar questions, but no solutions?
A couple months ago, I moved on from the Bold 9000 to the S2 and need to find a way to restore only the SMS data from a previous 9000 backup to the new S2. Searched here but I could only find similar questions, but no solutions?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
Open desktop manager and go to backup/restore
Click on advanced
On the left side click on file and point to your backup from your 9000 and open it
Only check sms and then hit the right arrow to transfer it to s2

After doing a dry-run without the phone, I'm assuming the selections remain grayed-out until the S2 is connected. Is that correct? (I'm waiting on a replacement S2 to be delivered in a few days)
